Zuzana Jírová

Zuzana Jírová (b. 1996) is an artist who uses various media in her work – traditional painting, drawings and digital media. She perceives her work as two different ways of expression. The final paintings are rather abstract, but can always evoke images of mysterious creatures, organisms or concrete objects. Ambiguity is an integral part of them, even in terms of the conception of surface and space. She also uses themes of interpersonal relationships and themes of personal experience, which she reflects through her digital comics. These comics contain always specific characters from her life. She uses photos from publicly available sources, such as social networks, as models.
